Vanessa Vasquez
I am excited to welcome Ms. Vanessa Vasquez to Wasatch Hills. I had the privilege of meeting Vanessa last summer when she sang for a wedding I performed. I was completely captivated by her amazing voice and her poise and grace on stage. I invite you to join us on July 19 at 10:45-11:15 am for a mini concert by Vanessa. Vanessa Vasquez grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona where she discovered her love for singing at age three and has taken private voice lessons since age six. She is a former senior graduate of Xavier College Preparatory where she has become a veteran of the Xavier/Brophy theatre productions: Romeo and Juliet (Soprano Soloist), Damn Yankees (Sister), Any Last Words? A Lenten Musical(Virgin Mary), Working-the musical (Maggie), My Fair Lady (Eliza Doolittle), as well as student directing the Shakespearian comedyTwelfth Night. She was Honor Choir Vice President, a student ambassador, an honored International Thespian and graduated with both National Spanish Honors Society and National Honors Society. She is very excited to study in Washington D.C. at Catholic University of America this fall where she will pursue her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance.
